Remember that our Emergency Department at Peterborough City Hospital is for patients needing urgent emergency care. Our Minor Injuries Unit at Stamford Hospital is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. The type of conditions that can be treated at our Minor Injuries Unit include wounds, cuts and bruises, bites, minor burns and scalds, sprains and minor head injuries with no loss of consciousness.

Children coming into the Emergency Department and Childrenâ€™s Unit at Peterborough City Hospital will now benefit from a higher level of nursing skills and experience after a nurse qualified as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
The Friends of Stamford Hospital will be holding their Annual General Meeting on 28April, at 7.30pm, with guest speaker and Richard III expert Dr Piers Mitchell.
